- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the management of department resources, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Recruit, train, and develop the payroll team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the demands of the role.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of year-end reporting for all European markets.
- Prepare and report all UK statutory filing requirements.
- Provide management reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a retail or service industry environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and processes, including implementation and change management.
- Experience of managing third-party payroll providers and negotiating contracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Relevant qualifications in payroll management or a related field.
