Production Operative Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Washington, United Kingdom. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble products according to company specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and report defects.
  • Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist with stock management and packing of products.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
