About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planned Maintenance and Utilities Operations Manager to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our engineering management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy to ensure the efficient operation of our production site.

As the Planned Maintenance (PM) & Utilities Manager, you will oversee the team solely focused on PM and Utilities on-site, ensuring daily checks and maintenance activities on equipment are carried out correctly. You will develop and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and relevant data analysis to develop and maintain the production processes, to implement step changes in performance, and to develop and maintain the existing production processes.

You will work closely with the Technician Manager who is responsible for leading the Reactive maintenance team, and you will report to the Engineering manager. In this respect, you will coordinate closely as an engineering management team to achieve improvement across the board.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Proactive Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement a proactive maintenance strategy to ensure the efficient operation of our production site.
  2. Oversee PM and Utilities Team: Oversee the team solely focused on PM and Utilities on-site, ensuring daily checks and maintenance activities on equipment are carried out correctly.
  3. Develop and Use CMMS: Develop and use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and relevant data analysis to develop and maintain the production processes.
  4. Ensure Compliance with Local Legislation and Good Manufacturing Practices: Ensure compliance with local legislation and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  5. Grow the Team: Actively grow the team to move the site balance from reactive to proactive maintenance.
  6. Ensure Daily Checks and Maintenance Activities: Ensure the team carries out all necessary Daily Checks on the various site's utilities Plant equipment.
  7. Ensure Function Tests: Ensure the team carries out all necessary Function Tests on the site's safety equipment (Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, High Level Alarm).
  8. Ensure Compliance with Established or New Audit Requirements: Ensure compliance with established or new audit requirements.
  9. Apply, Develop, and Improve AM and PM Systems: Apply, develop, and improve AM and PM systems to ensure efficient running of the plant/Utilities equipment.
  10. Ensure Utilities Equipment and Plant Runs Effectively and Efficiently: Ensure the Utilities equipment & Plant runs effectively and efficiently working closely with OEM engineers.
Requirements
  1. Management Experience: A few years' previous management experience in a similar position.
  2. Electrical and/or Mechanical Qualifications: Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications C&G, NVQ/ONC/HNC.
  3. Good Understanding of General Manufacturing Utilities Plant Equipment: Good Understanding of general manufacturing Utilities Plant Equipment.
