Company Overview: Randstad Construction and Property is collaborating with a prominent national facilities management organization seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to oversee their operations.

Role Overview: In this position, you will be responsible for leading the technical team in executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance tasks. You will serve as the primary contact for all maintenance-related issues across your designated sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the completion of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within established timelines, while accurately documenting and certifying all necessary paperwork.
  • Respond efficiently to service requests from the Helpdesk, evaluating job requirements and ensuring that repairs are conducted as needed.
  • Guarantee that all locations within your area are supported on a 24/7 basis, providing both reactive and planned maintenance services.
  • Monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify underperformance and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Provide support for Regional Support Managers during their absences, holidays, and meetings.
  • Conduct regular reviews focusing on quality and Health & Safety compliance, addressing any non-compliance issues.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess NVQ level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2 or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
