About the Position

The Support Coordinator role at TIGH LENACH involves working with a dynamic team to support young adults with complex needs.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a dedicated and ambitious individual who can offer complete commitment to helping our young adults achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with the staff team to safeguard our young adults at all times.
  2. Participating in various recreational events held within the home and wider community.
  3. Assisting with practical tasks related to care, such as cooking and cleaning.
  4. Developing positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  5. Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
  6. Maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
  7. Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
  8. Contribution to the development of the team.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • A genuine passion for care and a motivation to contribute to the progression of others.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • A Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to complete this.
