Job Description:

F&B Operations Manager

  • SUPERVISE SERVICE AND WAITSTAFF: As an F&B Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising service and waiting staff to ensure that they provide quality service to guests. This includes directing workstations, verifying cleanliness and organization, and ensuring that staff are adequately trained to deliver exceptional service.
  • ENSURE GUEST SATISFACTION: You will also be responsible for ensuring that guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service. This includes monitoring staff assignments and responsiveness, performing all service duties, and actively pushing high-profit food and drink items.
  • BUILD A HIGH-PERFORMING TEAM: To achieve these objectives, you will need to utilize your supervisory skills, effective communication, and motivation to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction. This includes coaching staff to achieve F&B and M&E revenue goals, communicating daily with head chef and front office manager, and assisting with F&B-related projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • EXPERIENCE IN THE HOTEL SECTOR: To succeed in this role, you will need to have significant experience working within the hotel sector, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
  • PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF DELIVERING RESULTS: You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results, including achieving revenue growth and improving guest satisfaction.
  • STRONG COMMUNICATION AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS: Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to success in this role. You will need to be able to motivate and direct staff effectively, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and build a high-performing team.
