Nuclear Medicine Administrative Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a self-motivated and highly organized individual to fill the position of PET/CT Administrative Assistant within the Nuclear Medicine Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Nuclear Medicine team, including data input and clerical duties.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Nuclear Medicine Main Reception Office.
- Provide patient support, counseling, and welfare for patients undergoing complex examinations in the Nuclear Medicine, DXA, and PET/CT sections.
Requirements
- GCSE qualification or equivalent in Maths and English.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as business administration.
- Previous experience working in the NHS and administrative experience.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with a strict awareness of confidentiality issues.

- The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of working in hospital information systems and previous experience in clerical roles within healthcare are desirable.
- The ability to speak Welsh is also desirable.
