Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer/Clinical Technologist to join our team in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Singleton Hospital in Swansea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Nuclear Medicine and SPECT/CT imaging, with experience in patient care and administration of radioactive substances.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across the full range of Nuclear Medicine Services, including SPECT/CT and DXA imaging. They will also be expected to provide training and guidance to junior staff and contribute to the development of the department.

Requirements
  • BSc Honours in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography, or recognized training in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography
  • Professional registration with the RCT or HCPC
  • Other relevant postgraduate training or experience
Desirable Qualifications
  • MSc in a relevant specialism area
  • Leadership and management training
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant subject
  • DXA certification by the ROS
