About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician to join our team at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton. As a key member of our acute medical service, you will play a vital role in enhancing the care we deliver to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, leading a team of junior doctors, and contributing to the development of our acute medical service. You will work closely with our local commissioners and other stakeholders to ensure the success of our service.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register in a medical specialty or General Medicine, or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
- MRCP or equivalent
- Relevant CCT or equivalent ('equivalence' must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of AAC)
Desirable Qualities
- Wide range of experience in general and acute medicine
- Evidence of clinical audit
- Experience of supervising junior medical staff
