**Job Title:** Tooling Technician

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and preparing tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tool Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Tool Preparation: Prepare tools and equipment for use, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting.
  • Machine Setup: Set up and operate machinery to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Reporting: Report any issues or concerns with tools, equipment, or machinery to the team leader.
  • Training: Assist with training new team members on tool preparation and maintenance procedures.
  • Stock Management: Conduct monthly stock checks and advise on any shortages.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all equipment, including gun refurbishment, receiver frames, spray frames, Enstats, bead pipes, airlines, and backloading frames.
  • Tool Overhauls: Complete tool overhauls and services, including re-securing cavities, re-drilling, and re-tapping damaged or stripped bolts.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in tool maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of tool maintenance, equipment operation, and quality control procedures.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
