Job Title: Tooling Technician

ENGINEERED FOAM PRODUCTS LIMITED is seeking a skilled Tooling Technician to join our team. As a Tooling Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating tool fitting equipment, ensuring it is safe and efficient for use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain tool fitting equipment, ensuring it is safe and efficient for use.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machine chests, seal, spray frames, and other equipment.
  • Report any tool issues or concerns to the team leader.
  • Carry out tool maintenance to schedule, ensuring all tools are labelled and stored correctly.
  • Support the NPI process by inspecting new tooling upon arrival and reporting any issues.
  • Complete tool overhauls and services, including re-securing cavities, re-drilling and re-tapping damaged or stripped bolts, and adding core vents.
  • Maintain all equipment, including gun refurbishment, receiver frames, spray frames, Enstats, bead pipes, airlines, and backloading frames.
  • Conduct monthly stock checks and advise of any shortages.
Requirements:
  • Ability to setup a machine and understand the process in full.
  • Ability to complete all tool fits and insert changes safely and to a high standard within the required timescales.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the team and report any concerns or issues.
