Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: UK and Europe

Employment type: Permanent

Salary: £60,000-£75,000 - dependent on experience

Technical Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and oversee the financial aspects of key projects, ensuring cost efficiency and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial management of projects, from initial tender through to final account sign-off.
  • Manage and review all contractual documentation and cost plans, ensuring alignment with the project scope.
  • Oversee the procurement of key subcontractor and supplier packages, maintaining high standards of compliance and cost control.
  • Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Audit subcontractor applications for payment and issue notices in line with contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address any issues related to delays, disruptions, or cost overruns.
  • Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, ensuring their professional development.
  • Attend client meetings to provide detailed project cost reports and updates.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services.
  • Proven track record of managing the financial aspects of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of tendering, construction processes, and contract management.
