Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Technical Global Solutions. As a key member of our Mechanical & Electrical services provider, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial management of projects from initial tender to final account sign-off.
  • Manage and review all contractual documentation and cost plans to ensure alignment with project scope.
  • Oversee the procurement of key subcontractor and supplier packages, maintaining high standards of compliance and cost control.
  • Prepare and submit monthly interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Audit subcontractor applications for payment and issue notices in line with contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address issues related to delays, disruptions, or cost overruns.
  • Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors to ensure their professional development.
  • Attend client meetings to provide detailed project cost reports and updates.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services.
  • Proven track record of managing the financial aspects of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of tendering, construction processes, and contract management.
