We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry North West Midlands, based in Wolverhampton. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function on a number of mixed tenure developments in the North West Midlands region.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering major open market, affordable, and contracting housing schemes. You will be responsible for managing a team of surveyors and ensuring that all commercial and contract documentation is completed and stored centrally.

You will also be responsible for presenting and agreeing external valuations with clients, pricing and agreeing variations, and preparing and managing key and large risk subcontract accounts from inception to final accounts.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of subcontractors is in line with the Vistry Business Management System and that the packages cover the scope of the works.

You will also contribute to the management of life of site cost and revenue forecasts across multi-phase developments and provide input and cost and value engineering advice throughout the design life of the scheme.

As part of the project team, you will help shape the long-term delivery strategy for the project and provide input on dispute avoidance and company health and safety standards.

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor who can lead our commercial function and contribute to the success of our projects.

  • Strong team player, with the entrepreneurial ability to operate and excel in a changing on-site environment.
  • Well-developed analytical, oral, and presentation/communication skills.

  • Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable.
  • Strong in-depth knowledge of groundworks, roads, and sewers.
  • Training of and understanding of COINs.
