Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry North West Midlands. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function on a number of mixed tenure developments in the North West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise the profitability of contracts
  • Ensure contracts achieve optimum cashflow position
  • Completion and compliance with contract documentation
  • Ensure all contract documentation is completed and stored centrally
  • Compliance with commercial and company procedures
  • Presentation and agreement of external valuations
  • Pricing and agreeing variations
  • Management of key and large risk subcontract accounts
  • Subcontract procurement strategy and implementation
  • Monitoring risk and opportunity schedules
  • Contribution to management of life of site cost and revenue forecasts
  • Provision of cost and value engineering advice
  • Management of personal development reviews of associated surveying resources
  • Proactive approach to dispute avoidance
