This role is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to play a key role in delivering a marketing strategy with responsibility for developing partnerships and marketing campaigns that will increase engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Advance the work of the Health Information team, particularly with healthcare professionals.
  • Build Relationships: Identify and build relationships with influential clinicians and other stakeholders, their professional bodies, and organizations, to develop partnerships that support and promote our work.
  • Seek New Opportunities: Identify new opportunities to build new relationships and maintain current ones within the voluntary and healthcare sectors.
  • Collaborate with Health Information Colleagues: Work closely with Health Information colleagues on the development and promotion of training courses and webinars.
  • Coordinate Marketing and Promotion: Coordinate marketing and promotion to healthcare professionals, working closely with Health Information and Communications colleagues to ensure marketing methods achieve cost-effective impact.
  • Oversee Marketing Initiatives: Oversee marketing initiatives to extend the reach of our information for the general public and widen its reach.
  • Develop Marketing and Communications Plans: Develop marketing and communications plans and project request forms to brief in promotional activities and asset creation with our Communications team.
  • Project Manage Marketing Initiatives: Project manage marketing initiatives and campaigns, including the timely delivery and deployment.
  • Work with PR Colleagues: Work with PR colleagues to maximize opportunities to place stories in trade press.
  • Commission Third Parties: Commission third parties such as media buying agencies, freelance writers, and market researchers.
  • Manage the Health Information Officer: Manage the role of the Health Information Officer on a day-to-day basis, motivating and supporting them, maintaining regular 1-to-1s and reviews.
  • Contribute to Strategic Direction: Work with the Head of Health Information to contribute to the strategic direction of the team's work.
Requirements
  • Marketing Qualification or Experience: A marketing qualification or extensive relevant experience in a role with marketing and clinical/public health stakeholder engagement as its main focus.
  • Developing Marketing Strategies: Experience of developing marketing strategies and campaigns for health professional and consumer audiences.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Extensive experience of stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Managing Multi-Stakeholder Projects: Extensive experience of managing multi-stakeholder projects from conception through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Engaging with Healthcare Professionals: Experience of engaging with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
  • Understanding of Marketing Methods: In-depth understanding of a wide range of marketing methods and ability to identify the most effective messages to fulfill a marketing campaign.
