Pension and Investment Administrator Job Description

Reed Specialist Recruitment is proud to be representing one of the UK's largest financial networks, seeking a new Pension and Investment Administrator to support their Advisers in servicing clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Client Best Interest outcomes by promoting our policy and taking responsibility for own performance.
  • Identify personal development areas and ensure compliance with regulatory responsibilities.
  • Support the team in ensuring all advisers supply a full compliant file before processing new business.
  • Submit pension and investments to providers online or by post, and chase providers on progress in a timely manner.
  • Update clients on workflow progress and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Chase client authorities with insurance companies and ensure all documents are scanned to INVU or Intelligent Office.
  • Produce ongoing service reports for adviser's client meetings with supporting documentation.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an administrator in the financial services industry, particularly in investments and pensions.
  • FA1 – Life Office Administration is essential, with desirable qualifications including FA2 Pensions Administration, CF1 UK Financial Services Regulation and Ethics, and RO1 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics.
  • Good keyboard skills, practical experience with Word, Excel, and Database applications, and good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, time management, and up-to-date knowledge of financial services providers and products.
