Energetic Materials Programme Lead

About the Role
Cranfield University is seeking an experienced Programme Director to lead its Centre of Excellence in Energetic Materials (CoEEM). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and delivery of CoEEM's vision.
The role involves operations management of non-academic functions, including promoting awareness of CoEEM and providing support to the Head of Centre for Defence Chemistry. Key responsibilities include project managing non-technical functions, building relationships with associated organisations, and developing plans that provide coordinated research, training, test evaluation, and knowledge in the Energetic Materials community.
A first/second-class degree in a science-related subject is required, along with experience of managing multiple strands of activities in a higher education or scientific environment. Strong influencing and directing skills, as well as planning, managing, and delivering projects, are also essential.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
