Programme Manager for Energetic Materials

Cranfield University's Centre of Excellence in Energetic Materials (CoEEM) is seeking a skilled Programme Director to lead its operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development, implementation, and delivery of CoEEM's vision, as well as managing non-academic functions.
This role requires strong influencing and directing skills, as well as experience of managing multiple strands of activities in a higher education or scientific environment. Planning, managing, and delivering projects are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement CoEEM's vision
- Manage non-academic functions, including marketing and communications
- Build relationships with associated organisations
- Project manage non-technical functions
- Develop plans that provide coordinated research, training, test evaluation, and knowledge in the Energetic Materials community
Requirements:
- First/second-class degree in a science-related subject
- Experience of managing multiple strands of activities in a higher education or scientific environment
- Strong influencing and directing skills
- Planning, managing, and delivering projects
