A key role within our Iceland team at our chilled and frozen site in Swindon has arisen, responsible for ensuring efficient operational performance while maintaining strong communications with the on-site management team.

This full-time, permanent position involves working any 5 from 7 days on a rotating shift pattern of 07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 23:00.

The salary for this role is up to £33,000 per annum.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of colleagues to achieve operational success in our temperature-controlled warehouse
  • Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure these are met and exceeded
  • Maximise productivity and improve quality to drive growth
  • Manage HR requirements including investigation, disciplinary, grievance, and absence management

To succeed in this challenging role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in managing an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a grocery operation)
  • The ability to lead continuous improvement projects and demonstrate excellent planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
