We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team at Leisure People in Broadstairs. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while leading a high-performing team.

About the Role:

  1. Lead the Team: Lead your team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring that customers have a consistently excellent experience whilst visiting our centre.
  2. Operational Management: Be process and systems orientated with a keen eye for delivering labour management, operational detail, and health and safety compliance.
  3. Commercial Acumen: Drive multiple revenue streams, including admissions, party bookings, exclusive hire, and the cafe, to maximize commercial opportunities.
  4. Marketing Expertise: Execute local sales and marketing plans, including social media management, to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
  5. Career Development: Enjoy ongoing coaching and development of your management team and front-line staff, fostering a culture of growth and success.
  6. Duty Management: Work duty management shifts and a minimum of 1 weekend in 2 to ensure seamless operation of our centre.

Requirements:

  1. Management Experience: 3 years managerial experience leading a customer-focused high footfall business, ideally in family entertainment, health and fitness, hospitality, or retail management with a £1m+ turnover.
  2. Leadership Style: A front-of-house approach to leading and coaching teams, delivering a great customer experience.
  3. Analytical Mindset: An analytical approach and a passion to be the very best, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  4. Health and Safety: First aid qualified and have a strong knowledge of health and safety protocols.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum, plus an annual performance-related bonus of 10%.
  • 28 days holiday per annum, cash plan benefit scheme, and free parking on site.
