Job Overview

The Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the creation of a safe and secure environment for players and team members. Strong practical skills are required to deliver training, problem-solving, repairs, and project work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the Maintenance and Facilities teams to achieve high-quality results through training and support
  • Proactively seek ways to enhance the facility and player experience
  • Maintain the general upkeep of the building, outfield, targets, and surrounding areas
  • Possess extensive knowledge of all maintenance/operational systems to maintain standards and perform basic repairs in-house
  • Monitor the safe use and operation of maintenance tools, PPE, and other equipment
  • Ensure maintenance supplies are fully stocked for upcoming work
  • Place orders from nominated suppliers up to the agreed value with the Operations Manager
  • Maintain functionality of ball dispensers for efficient performance
  • Sustain an optimal level of golf balls flowing through the system

Salary: £25,000 + 10% bonus

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of utility services (gas, electric, water, and heating supply) and ability to resolve issues for crisis management
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience leading a Maintenance or Facilities Team
