Head of Business Development and Estimation

Carbon60 is looking for a Head of Business Development and Estimation to lead our preconstruction and work-winning efforts in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team and drive industry-leading results.
The successful candidate will have experience in the Power Industry, Electrical Contracting, or related sectors, with a deep understanding of high-voltage systems, substations, and distribution systems, as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a work-winning strategy to identify potential clients, analyse markets, and position us competitively.
- Leading a team of Estimators, Bid Writers, and Business Development Managers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, influencers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Oversight of timely and compliant bids for larger projects (£1m+ revenue), ensuring adherence to the Gate process and securing approvals.
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (Competitive) + car allowance, bonus, private healthcare, and additional benefits.
