Special Needs Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This role requires creating, planning, and delivering tailored 1:1 lessons for alternate education.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will support and re-engage pupils in their learning, offer structure to their daily routine, continue their educational development, and aid their return to school. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students to understand their needs and develop personalized learning plans.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging 1:1 lessons to meet the needs of each student.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans to promote student growth and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of teaching methods and strategies for alternate education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
