Job Title: Special Education Needs Teacher

We are seeking an experienced or aspiring SEN teacher to join our team at a school in Durham, providing support to students with diverse special educational needs. This temporary position offers the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant will have a willingness to work with children who require additional support and be comfortable managing challenging behaviors. They will also be working with students who have Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

This alternative provision school caters to students with various special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills through free Ofqual-approved training courses provided by our Affinity Academy.
