Community Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our Community Dietitians team at St Richards Hospital, Chichester. This is a full-time 12-month fixed-term position, with part-time and secondment options available.
The successful candidate will work as part of our friendly community dietitians team, providing dietetic advice to patients at home or in community hospital settings. They will participate in continuing professional development, audit, and research to further best practice and personal development.
Regular travel between sites is required, and a car driver with access to a car for work is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake dietetic assessments of referred patients, considering medical, social, cultural, and psychological factors.
- Provide training to patients, carers, and staff, and order equipment/appropriate ancillaries for patients.

- Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Bachelor of Science (Honors degree) in Nutrition and Dietetics, Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, or Postgraduate Diploma.
- Desirable:
- Post-registration training in cognitive behavioural therapy.
- Student clinical facilitator training course.
- Relevant post-graduate courses.

- Experience of working with people in the community setting.
