About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Children's Community Nurse to join our team in Chichester. As a key member of our Community Children's Nursing Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to children and young people in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the local Children's Community Nursing Team and countywide CCNS, ensuring policy and practice are developed and delivered in line with Trust and national best practice standards.
  • Deliver specialist community children's nursing for children and young people on the CCN caseload, providing up-to-date knowledge and skills for the nursing management and care of children in the community setting.
  • Work closely with other health professionals within the Trust and across the health economy, as well as with statutory and third sector agencies, to promote the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse - Child with current registration with NMC.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of children's nursing post registration (RNC).
  • Experience working with children who have complex health needs and disability.
  • Experience of working in partnership with other agencies.
