Infertility Counselling Specialist

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Counsellor position in the Department of Reproductive Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential emotional support and guidance to individuals and couples facing fertility challenges.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality one-to-one, couple, and group counselling services to patients.
- Provide implications counselling for those considering donor treatment or wishing to donate their gametes.
- Conduct Welfare of the Child Assessments as necessary.
- Ensure accurate records and adherence to professional standards through regular supervision and training.
- Diploma in Counselling, recognised by the BACP.
- Membership of BACP or other recognised professional counselling/psychotherapy body.
- Extensive experience in counselling related to reproductive health and infertility.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Strong understanding of counselling theory and models.
- Significant experience in loss and grief counselling.
This post offers a salary of £45,639 - £76,761 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
