Job Summary:

Kingsgate Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ocean Import Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Ocean Import Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and accurate movement of freight and information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work-File Management: Prepare and manage work-files for the customs team, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Communication: Liaise with customers, origin offices, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Tracking and Tracing: Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Invoice Management: Complete and process invoices for all shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Manage and meet KPIs for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple work-files, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately complete and process invoices, work-files, and other documentation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex customer issues, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
