Job Title: Independent Clinical / Forensic Psychologist

Location: Remote with travel to Northwest, Yorkshire, and East Midlands

Advanced Adult Care Assessments (AACA) is a growing organization that conducts a range of Adult and Child Social Care Assessments for Local Authorities, Solicitors, and the Courts.

We are seeking to expand our Panel of Independent Psychologists who are willing to work within Legal Aid Rates for the following assessments:

  • Cognitive Assessments for Adults or Children
  • Full Psychological Assessments for Adults or Children
  • Forensic Assessments

Hourly Rate: £70

Travel Time: £40 per hour

As an Independent Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting robust, clear, and comprehensive assessments of Adults or Children, depending on your specialist area. Your tasks will include:

  • Identifying appropriate interventions to improve the individual's circumstances or ability to parent children
  • Identifying specific risks as instructed and potential outcomes of risk behavior to others
  • Completing high-quality, legible reports that outline the identified needs and how they can be met, which will withstand scrutiny

Requirements:

  • Qualified Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years' Post Qualifying Experience
  • Full enhanced DBS and registration with the update service
  • Registration with the Information and Commissioners Office (ICO)
  • Highly computer literate
  • Ability to provide a laptop or computer for completing independent work

Working Hours: Day shift, Night shift, Weekend availability
