About the Job:

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Kensington & Chelsea is looking for a skilled Safeguarding and Attendance Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of students. As a Safeguarding and Attendance Assistant, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to promote excellent attendance and ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.

Key Duties:

  • Daily monitoring and tracking of student attendance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address absenteeism.
  • Liaising with parents and guardians to discuss attendance and safeguarding concerns, providing support and guidance to improve student outcomes.
  • Working with school staff to develop and implement effective attendance and safeguarding policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records and preparing reports to inform school decisions and improve student performance.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable, but not essential. A proactive, empathetic approach and a commitment to safeguarding and supporting student well-being are essential for this role.

A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, makes this an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.
