About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our IT Support team at Royal London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our colleagues across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional IT support to our colleagues via our incident and service request processes.
  • Support both hardware and software across the organization.
  • Proactively manage your own workload and work queue.
  • Liaise with colleagues in the IT Service Desk and 3rd line Specialist teams to find solutions to problems and to knowledge share.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in services and process enhancements to ensure we are always working efficiently.
  • Support the delivery and implementation of projects.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a 2nd or 3rd line IT support role, supporting customers both in-house and virtually. You will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including AD/Exchange/Teams/Office 365, and experience supporting Windows 10 and 11 clients.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Enjoy providing excellent customer support.
  • Enjoy problem-solving with a positive approach to challenges.
  • Good understanding of automation of systems and processes.
  • Good understanding of networks (WAN/LAN/Security/WiFi), monitoring, Unix, and storage technologies.
