Job Title: Linux Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
  • Monitor and maintain the reliability, availability, and scalability of our systems and platforms
  • Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
  • Implement secure configurations and measures to protect our infrastructure against cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT infrastructure requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of Linux administration and Red Hat products
  • Confident in using Chef or similar tools for end-to-end server configuration management
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes operations and cloud computing platforms
