Job Title: Kubernetes Linux Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Linux Administrator to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring measurable reliability, performance, availability, and ease of use.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and system performance to identify, address, and resolve potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
  • Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention, utilizing software scripting and coding disciplines.
  • Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, and other security threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT infrastructure requirements, devise solutions, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of administration of Red Hat Products, especially RHEL 789.
  • Confident in using Chef or similar (Ansible, Puppet) for end-to-end server configuration management.
  • Confident in scripting and automating complex tasks.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
