Job Title: Kubernetes Linux Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Linux Administrator to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our Market Data team, you will be responsible for supporting a Unix tower and contributing to specialized administration projects, including building Kubernetes environments and setting up AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, with a focus on RHEL 789.
  • Configure and manage servers using Chef or similar tools (Ansible, Puppet).
  • Develop and automate complex tasks using scripting languages.
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of systems, platforms, and technology through software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of RHEL administration.
  • Proficiency in using Chef or similar tools for server configuration management.
  • Ability to script and automate complex tasks.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes operations.
