Job Title: SI Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled SI Linux System Administrator to join our Market Data team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting a Unix tower and participating in specialized administration projects such as building Kubernetes environments and setting up AI infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert knowledge of Red Hat Products, particularly RHEL 789
  • Confident use of Chef or similar tools (Ansible, Puppet) for end-to-end server configuration management
  • Confident scripting and automation of complex tasks
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes operations
Requirements:
  • Experience in the financial sector or a similar deliverable environment
  • Assessment of key critical skills relevant to success in the role, including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills
Accountabilities:
  • Build Engineering: Development, delivery, and maintenance of high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
  • Incident Management: Monitoring of IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve potential issues
  • Automation: Development and implementation of automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency
  • Security: Implementation of secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities
  • Teamwork: Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define IT infrastructure requirements
  • Learning: Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations
Assistant Vice President Expectations:

  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures
  • Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls
  • Collaborate with other areas of work to support business-aligned activities
