Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as a medical specialist in a rural setting, providing hospital-level care and monitoring to patients in their own homes or care homes. The role involves working within a supportive team of consultants and nurse practitioners, and there may be the opportunity to contribute to the general medical out of hours rota at the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality medical care to patients in their own homes or care homes
  • Working collaboratively with a team of consultants and nurse practitioners to deliver effective patient care
  • Developing and evidencing clinical and professional competence to support overall career development

Requirements

  • Post foundation doctor at ST1 or ST2 level with full GMC registration and licence to practice
  • Essential to have a driver's license and access to a car
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses incurred while seeing patients
