About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Field Sales Representative to join our General Medical Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our high-quality, innovative General Surgery medical device products portfolio.

This is a remote position, and you will work from a home office in the South East/London metropolitan area. You will be required to travel extensively within the UK and internationally to sales meetings, congresses, and for training.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales and ensure market penetration with existing business and actively pursue new customers and develop new opportunities.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers.
  • Coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities.
  • Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert.
  • Attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses.
  • Partner closely with the UK Sales Leader, Regional Product Specialists, and Regional Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast.
  • Support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives.
  • Provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in the Operating Room.
  • Apply a solid knowledge of business fundamentals and hospital organisations to assist in dealings with public and private hospital administrations and their purchasing departments.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the interventional Hernia and Bariatric environment.

Ideal degree educated in a science, technical, or clinical discipline.

Possess extensive commercial skills enabling you to present and negotiate effectively to a wide variety of people.

Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organised.

Able to analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to the business unit guidelines.

Flexible work ethic, reacting to customer requirements.

A team-player, naturally interacting with other associates across Europe on a regular basis.
