About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Sales Professional to join our General Medical Products team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our high-quality, innovative General Surgery medical device products portfolio.

This is a remote position, and you will work from a home office in the South East/London metropolitan area.

Responsibilities:

  • Maximise sales and ensure market penetration with existing business and pursue new customers and opportunities
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and physician customers
  • Coordinate and implement local sales promotion activities
  • Gain recognition as a go-to person at Gore and as a product expert
  • Attend international and regional trade fairs and congresses
  • Partner closely with the UK Sales Leader, Regional Product Specialists, and Regional Strategic Marketers to achieve the annual revenue forecast
  • Support new product introduction and local marketing initiatives
  • Provide clinical product education and training, as well as regular involvement in the Operating Room
  • Apply a solid knowledge of business fundamentals and hospital organisations to assist in dealings with public and private hospital administrations and their purchasing departments

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a medical device Field Sales representative, preferably with a medical engineering or clinical background in the interventional Hernia and Bariatric environment

Ideal degree educated in a science, technical, or clinical discipline

Passionate about clinical sales

Extensive commercial skills enabling effective presentation and negotiation

Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organised

Able to analyse and understand the market to successfully plan objectives, strategies, and actions according to business unit guidelines

Flexible work ethic, reacting to customer requirements

A team-player, naturally interacting with other associates across Europe on a regular basis

The role requires a willingness to undertake extensive travel within the UK, also internationally, to sales meetings, congresses, and for training. Easy access to an international airport within the territory is therefore essential

Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with prior appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies and additional documents, from the country in which they are employed.
