A Compliance Quality Lead will lead a business-focused compliance and audit service on all provision. They will ensure regular audits and sampling of paperwork and content take place, both virtually and in person, across all sites to ensure strict control and assurance, limiting risks and concerns.

The role involves working with contract leads and delivery managers to develop strong compliance regimes relevant to each contract area. This includes sampling checking all funding streams paperwork for accuracy and quality, and carrying out 100% checks for areas of concern, risk, or recently changed.

The Compliance Quality Lead will cross-check evidence and claim data with delivery teams to ensure accuracy and assurance. They will prepare and validate evidence for contract submissions, ensuring paperwork accuracy ahead of submission deadlines to contracts teams.

The role requires offering advice, guidance, and training to colleagues in relation to documentation from enrolment to certification. The Compliance Quality Lead will actively drive timely and accurate completion and submission of all documentation, escalating and raising non-compliance issues.

They will develop compliance processes to suit all contract and funder requirements. The Compliance Quality Lead will lead on all audits, including those for funders, internal, and financial, preparing, checking, and working with contracts and delivery teams to ensure audits run smoothly, and any corrective actions are carried out.

The role involves following monthly returns, checking data reports for any corrective actions required across data systems. The Compliance Quality Lead will contribute to the development, performance, and maintenance of compliance activities across education and skills.

They will provide ongoing reports of compliance actions and status, ensuring an improving position at all times. The Compliance Quality Lead will provide ongoing reports on non-compliance of paperwork, enabling Delivery Managers to manage people's performance.

The role requires ensuring auditable evidence is maintained to support all funding claims. The Compliance Quality Lead will maintain a good knowledge and understanding of funding body rules and business compliance requirements across all contracts.

Strong IT skills, across multiple platforms, with an in-depth knowledge of office tools, and an eye for detail are essential. The ability to travel across all sites regularly, basing themselves at different sites each week to cover all sites within a month, is also required.
