Key Responsibilities:

As the Regulatory REACH Compliance Manager, you will lead product regulatory activities in the European region, ensuring compliance with chemical control laws. You will develop and implement strategies to monitor and manage regulatory activities, collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Requirements:
  • Manage the corporation's overall strategic regulatory compliance activities focused on REACH in the European region.
  • Collaborate with product safety and compliance teams to develop and execute regulatory activities within the EU region.
  • Lead the completion of new and existing chemical notifications and registrations to gain regulatory clearance.
  • Identify and resolve potential product compliance issues, minimizing impact on manufacture and sale of products.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of European compliance processes to ensure optimal management.
  • Provide regulatory guidance and consultancy to the business and R&D organizations in the region on compliance strategies.
  • Proactively monitor, evaluate business impact, and communicate new and amended legislation and regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop less experienced staff.
Desirable Skills:
  • Degree or higher in Chemistry, Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a regulatory discipline or related industrial experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in product regulatory compliance management, especially EU, UK, and Türkiye REACH compliance.
  • Proficient with IUCLID and common business-related ERP computer software programs such as SAP.
  • Experience in participation of industry consortia.
  • Understanding of related fields of hazard communication, transportation regulations, and toxicology.
  • Project management experience and results-driven.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a global team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
