This fixed-term position is perfect for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk looking to take their career to the next level. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team, providing full-time hours from Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) and Friday (8:30 AM - 2:00 PM). Part-time hours will also be considered for the ideal candidate.

Your Role

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the accuracy of the company's purchase ledger;
• Matching purchase invoices to stock purchase orders;
• Processing purchase invoices and credit notes with correct nominal codes;
• Resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers via phone or email;
• Reconciling supplier statements with internal records;
• Investigating discrepancies between cashbooks and bank statements;
• Setting up new supplier accounts and managing supplier forms;
• Calculating and allocating VAT payments accurately;
• Preparing GBP, EUR, and USD payment runs weekly and monthly;
• Managing the accounts email inbox;
• Providing general office support to the team as needed;

• Proficiency with Sage 200 and other IT systems;

• Adaptability to changing priorities and business demands;
• Strong organisational skills and a team-oriented mindset;

Salary Information
