Medical Records Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and accurate Medical Records Administrator to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with variable shifts between 07:00 and 18:00.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, track, and store medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the preparation of medical records for outpatient clinics, pre-assessment, and admissions.
  • Ensure timely transportation and filing of medical records.
  • Provide records or information on request from healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate within Data Protection Act legislation and data protection policies.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and accurate individual with excellent time management skills.
  • Prior experience in a medical records department, knowledge of the healthcare industry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Comfortable with physical demands of the role, including manual handling of files and records.
  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
