We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Salaried GP to join our team at Saltdean & Rottingdean Medical Practice. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to our patients and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Care Delivery: Provide exceptional medical care to our patients, including routine check-ups, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Service Provision: Offer services commensurate with the GMS contract, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive and high-quality care.
- Prescribing: Adhere to local and national guidelines for prescribing, ensuring that our patients receive safe and effective medication.
- Long-term Condition Management: Effectively manage long-term conditions, working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administration: Process administration tasks in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other associated tasks.
- Clinical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to good practice, policy, and guidance.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, accepting an equal share of the practice workload.
- Quality Initiatives: Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
- Practice Meetings: Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required.
- Appraisal and Revalidation: Ensure compliance with the appraisal process and prepare for revalidation.
- Continuing Professional Development: Commit to self-learning and instill an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team.
- Practice Strategy: Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.
- Practice Protocols: Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies at all times.
- Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, promoting a culture of continuous improvement at all times.
