About Our Home:

Amy Woodgate House is a specialist resource centre for older people with dementia, providing a home-from-home environment with large en-suite facilities. Our home is set over two floors, accommodating 40 permanent and 4 short stay residents, divided into four living units with sitting and dining rooms, and kitchen areas.

We're Seeking an Experienced Home Manager:

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Home Manager to lead our team at Amy Woodgate House. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents, building occupancy, and recruiting, training, and retaining a professional and experienced staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the service provided to our residents is of the highest quality
  • Build and maintain occupancy
  • Recruit, train, and retain a professional and experienced staff team
  • Comply with CQC, business governance, and operational policies and procedures
  • Manage home profit and loss within a set budget
  • Promote marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the home

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in successful CQC good-rated care home management, backed by a qualification such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
  • Compassionate yet assertive, with the ability to inspire positive change and continuous improvement in the quality of care
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care, with Registered Nurse Certification desired
