Amy Woodgate House is a specialist resource centre for older people with dementia, providing a high-quality living environment with a focus on care and comfort. The home is set over two floors, accommodating 40 permanent and 4 short stay residents, divided into four living units with en-suite facilities.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead our 44-bed Residential Care Home in Chessington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided to residents
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Recruit, train, and retain a professional and experienced staff team
  • Manage the home's profit and loss, working within a set budget
  • Promote marketing ideas to grow the reputation of the home

Requirements

  • Proven track record in successful CQC good-rated Care home management, backed by a qualification such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care
  • Compassionate yet assertive leadership style, with the ability to inspire positive change and continuous improvement in the quality of care
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, managing and leading large staffing teams to meet CQC requirements and client needs
