Job Title: Complaints Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complaints Officer to join our team at NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our Complaints Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we provide a high-quality service to our patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of formal complaints, providing advice and support to managers and staff in handling complaints.
  • Support the development of effective complaint handling processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with NHS complaints regulations.
  • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to resolve complaints and improve our service.
  • Contribute to the development of key performance indicators and performance reports, ensuring that we continuously improve our complaint handling processes.
  • Supervise administrative staff and provide training and induction to new team members.

Requirements:
  • Experience of managing complaints in a healthcare environment.
