Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at NHS Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in the delivery of patient care, including conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, families, and carers, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs, focusing on maximizing patient potential and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, with a focus on patient-centered practice.
