Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Galloway Community Hospital. This is a fixed-term position until June 2025.
About the RoleThis role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of conditions, providing rehabilitation to maximise patient goals and outcomes. You will be working within a well-established and welcoming service, including Occupational Therapy and a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to treatment and planning for patients with various conditions.
- Provide rehabilitation to maximise patient goals and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve improved health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Develop and implement re-treatment programs to support patient self-management and mental wellbeing.
- Maximise patient independence and confidence.
- A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
- Ability to work flexibly, including regular weekends, to provide a 6 or 7 day per week service.
