Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Council. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals with disabilities and their carers to provide assistive equipment and adaptations, and conduct assessments for the blue badge scheme.
About the Role:- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide support and services to individuals with disabilities
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for assistive equipment and adaptations
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users and their carers
- Registered practitioner with experience in health and social care
- Experience of working with assistive equipment and in a team setting
- Effective communication and computer skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Regular professional supervision and performance reviews
- Opportunities for further development and training
- A supportive and collaborative work environment
